Students Tour Innovative Landscape Center 07/23/10

Students from the Anthem Institute Parsippany evening CAD program toured the James Rose Center for Landscape Research and Design in Ridgewood, NJ, July 17 to learn more about Rose’s groundbreaking work in Landscape Architecture.

Led by CAD Instructor Nelson Parada, students explored the special exhibit Suburbia Transformed, which features green, sustainable technologies in suburban settings. The exhibit runs through September 3.

James Rose was one of the leaders of the modern movement in Landscape Architecture, fusing indoor and outdoor space—a radical belief in his time that led to his expulsion from Harvard University in 1937.
